Journey of the Fool

The Book hit the Internet on December 12. It is rumored to have come out on Facebook first, one chapter at a time, every Tuesday at 9 am for 22 long weeks, but that’s just a rumor.

To say that most people around the world were shocked would be a ridiculous understatement. Most people were, quite frankly, appalled at the concepts being proposed. After all, everybody knew somebody whose way of life was being challenged.

Understandably, others simply discounted The Book as a passing phase, a short-lived distraction, but how could they possibly have known what would follow? How could anyone have foreseen what was to come?

In spite of the shock, feigned or otherwise, and the cries of outrage, some people met the ideologies outlined in The Book with a certain wave of relief, maybe even a rush of excitement. Finally, the pendulum had swung. Something had actually happened.

Better still, what could happen next?

From excerpt above:

"Most people were, quite frankly, appalled at the concepts being proposed."

As you read the book, you're going to learn the above sentence is quite an understatement. The concepts proposed in the book are extremely controversial. In my next blog post, I'll share some of the concepts that are presented in the novel. For now, let's talk about what happens when something comes along that turns life upside down.

We're all on a road just like this right now. So, what do you think? The downsides are painfully obvious, but what about upsides? What benefits do you see in massive change?
